The assault caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
